Seed – UNITY OF FAITH MINISTRIES

This past Saturday at Next Level Dallas Church, Pastor Rocky and Susan Byers, talked about the seed planted in Mary’s womb. Since that time, I’ve had more revelation concerning seed:

1. Seed is the beginning of life.

Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Genesis 28:14 And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

2. God spoke His Word and created the heavens and earth.

Genesis 1:11-12 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose see is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Genesis 22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the seashore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.

Ezekiel 12:25 For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, saith the Lord GOD.

Mark 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

3. Seed is the Word of God.

Exodus 32:13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou swarest by thine own self, and saidst unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it forever.

Luke 4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, it is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

4. Seed is Jesus who was the Word of God.

Romans 1:3 Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh.

Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of one, and to thy seed, which is Christ.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

5. Jesus is God.

1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

1 John 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and everyone that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

1 John 5:5 Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

6. Seed is what God wants us to plant over our circumstances because God Himself created the world with His spoken Word.

Isaiah 59:21As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and forever.

Jeremiah 4:3 For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.

Galatians 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

2 Corinthians 9:10 Now he that ministered seed to the Sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.

Therefore, we are speaking the Word of God over our circumstances today. God wants to bless and use us giving us life and life more abundantly, but first we must step out in faith and speak God ‘s supernatural, living Word over the mountains we face, the trials we live through.

Much like Mary, Jesus’ mother who said with great risk at being shunned or stoned for an out of wedlock pregnancy said, “Behold, I am the handmaiden to the Lord; let it be done to me according to what you have said.” Luke 1:38

Despite great doubt and possibly fear, Mary agreed with the Lord’s assignment. It is a willing, and submissive heart that God will use when all looks impossible!

What is God telling you today? Do you trust him today with your whole heart and simply obey, overcoming doubt and fear? Do you simply trust that if God be for you who can be against you?

Are you willing to look foolish and speak the Word of faith over your circumstances much like the farmer who casts the seed into the ground and waits until the harvest?!

What is your harvest? Is it good health, is it prosperity, and is it a good marriage? Is it your relationships? Is it a sound mind? Is it your DESTINY?

Whatever it is you need, you already have the seed of the incorruptible Word of God that was planted in your heart at spiritual birth when you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Just like Mary who was impregnated by the Holy Spirit, you too having the same Holy Spirit IN YOU, ARE PREGNANT WITH NEW LIFE! Rejoice and be glad. The harvest is coming…
